WALORSKI ENDORSED BY INDIANA MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION

November 2, 2016

JackieWalorski_barnCongresswoman Jackie Walorski (IN-02) announced Wednesday she received the endorsement of the Indiana Manufacturers Association, the only trade association focused exclusively on Hoosier manufacturing.

“Indiana’s 2nd District is one of our nation’s top manufacturing centers, and I am committed to fighting for good manufacturing jobs for hardworking Hoosiers,” Walorski said. “I am honored to have the support of the Indiana Manufacturers Association, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to help Hoosier manufacturers grow and succeed.”

“While Indiana has made wonderful strides in creating an economic climate that will lead to growth, there are significant issues impacting Indiana’s manufacturers, and many of these issues originate in Washington, D.C.,” said IMA President Brian Burton. “We need leaders who will support tax, environmental, energy, workforce, workplace and labor policies that help businesses expand. Our state needs members of Congress who will support pro-growth, common-sense legislation that helps manufacturers compete around the world. The IMA is confident that Congresswoman Walorski is the best qualified candidate with the most-proven track record to achieve these goals and we are proud to endorse her for reelection.”

The Indiana Manufacturers Association, which represents more than 1,400 companies, advocates for a business climate that supports quality manufacturing jobs for Hoosiers.
