The Plymouth High SchoolSpell BowlTeam participated in the Class 1 State Finals this past weekend and finished the season 3rd in the state.
PHS Junior, Sydney Morris had a perfect score for the sixth straight contest of the season, correctly spelling tusche, sgraffito, glissade, cuneiform, achievable, parti pris, etiquette, leitmotif, and Wernicke’s area.
Senior Garrett Garver, sophomore Jessica Baca, sophomore Edgar Garcia Cuatlatl, and junior Autumn Wilson also had perfect scores at the state contest. Junior Grace Morris and sophomore Julia Marohn earned near perfect ribbons.
