BourbonPoliceA Plymouth teen was arrested early Saturday morning by Bourbon Police.

Just before 4 a.m. Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger responded to the noise of squealing tires and found that a vehicle had missed the curve and stop sign at East Center Street and Old US 30.

An investigation revealed that 19 year old Jesus Ramirez had been drinking.  He also admitted to speeding and talking on his phone at the time of the accident.

Ramirez failed a field sobriety test and tested at .18%BCA.

Jesus Ramirez was transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Operating While Intoxicated and Minor Consuming.  He was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

 

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
