MugShot_Shari MeltonA traffic stop by a county police officer on Wednesday November 9 lead to the arrest of three people.

Just before 9 p.m. the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call of a possibly impaired driver that was traveling southbound on US 31 approaching 11th Road.

Officers located the vehicle and through an investigation determined that the driver, 43 year old Shari Melton if Indianapolis was impaired. She was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance.

MugShot_John HooperTwo passengers in her vehicle, 28 year old John Hooper of Indy and

MugShot_Jody Spicer33 year old Jody Spicer of Grovertown were also arrested and lodged in the County Jail for Possession of Marijuana.
