The 6th Annual Heartland fund raiser is offering the community a chance to win a Christmas Tree and Evergreen Swag. Their debut will take place this Saturday, Nov. 12 from 12-4:00 at the Christmas Open House. The five-foot mixed evergreen tree with a resin traditional base and a two-foot pine evergreen swag will be raffled off separately. Both will have lights and will be completely decorated with Heartland artists’ art. The ornaments are typically created in the media for which the artists are known. Ornaments could be pottery, acrylics paintings, textile ornaments, natural, knitted, a wide variety of one-of-a-kind ornaments for an original ‘Homespun Holiday’ tree. The color theme this year is primitive country colors; deep blue, red, gold and grey. There are some nostalgic and patriotic ornaments to coincide with Indiana’s 2016 Bicentennial Year. This annual event is a fund raiser for Heartland Artists Gallery. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or six for $5.00 and can be purchased at the Gallery in downtown Plymouth. The raffle drawing for the holiday tree and evergreen swag will take place at the December Open House, Saturday, Dec. 3rd at 4:00.

Together with other businesses in the 100 block of downtown Plymouth, we are building the Art Block. The Gallery’s mission is to support area artists, to bring and to teach the arts to our community.
Our not-for-profit Gallery gives area artists a venue to show and sell their art. Our art classes fulfill our mission for educating and the classes assist in our financial means to maintain the Gallery.
