Discover Plymouth, the official Main Street USA organization for the city, will be hosting the 2016 Plymouth Downtown Christmas Celebration. This event is fun for the whole family and anyone the area looking for something fun and local to do the Saturday after Thanksgiving on November 26th.
In the past, the Parade of Lights, Christmas Tree Lighting and other activities were on the Friday after Thanksgiving. With Small Business Saturday gaining more attention over the last few years, it made sense to combine the two events into one day and make it a single downtown event that would have something for everyone to enjoy.
The day will have activities for kids, Christmas music, a giveaway for stopping by the downtown shops, the parade, light show in River Park Square and of course the Christmas Tree Lighting! Support downtown businesses and have a blast with the family ringing in the Christmas season.
