Stuff-A-BusOn Saturday November 5, Heminger House, Marshall County’s Domestic Violence Shelter, will be the recipient of donations collected by Martins Supermarket with the help of Church of the Heartland and the Boys and Girls Club of Marshall County for the annual Stuff-A-Bus event.

To help out Heminger House, all you need to do is purchase one or more items, between now and Saturday, November 5th, that you would like to donate and give it to one of the cashiers at Martin’s Supermarket before the event or one of the volunteers at the Stuff-A-Bus event on Saturday.

Stuff-A-Bus will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Martins on East Jefferson Street.  After filling the bus the items will be delivered to the Heminger House.

Examples of non perishable items needed include: cleaning supplies (household and laundry), hygiene items and gift cards or cash.  Cash will be exchanged for Martin’s Gift Cards to be used in store. In the past, Stuff-A-Bus has collected enough items to last upwards of six months at the Heminger House.

Diane Fisher, Executive Director of the Heminger House said, “This is a great opportunity to get out and help the community.”
