Ledyard-water-treatmentCity residents are invited to see how the City of Plymouth provides clear, clean water to its residents during an open house on Saturday at the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant.

 

The Plymouth Water Department will open the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant to the public this Saturday, October 22nd from 10 a.m. till noon.   Residents will see the completion of the more than $3 million dollar capital improvement.

 

The project consisted of replacing 4 pressure filters, 4 high service pumps, various pipe and valve replacements, new chemical feed facilities, the electrical feed system including auxiliary generator, a new equipment storage building, asphalt drives and parking area, renovations to both detention tanks, additional office space, and an employee break-room and dressing room.

 

The open house will be from 10 to noon Saturday at 900 Ledyard Street.
