Monday morning about 11:45 the Bremen Police Department received a tip of an individual with warrants riding his bike in town.
Bremen Police Chief Brad Kile and Sgt. Matt Schnaible began a search and a short time later located 42 year old Jeff Slavery Bremen riding his bike on North Street.
Slavery was arrested on two warrants, one through Marshall County for theft and auto theft and the other from Saint Joseph County and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
