An officer with the Marshall County Police Department initiated a traffic stop Monday (10/17/16) morning at 1:30 in the area of US 30 and Fir Road for exceeding the posted speed limit.
The driver, 36 year old Timothy Jester of LaPorte was found to be operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator for life.
A passenger in the vehicle, 19 year old Calais Jackson of Fort Wayne was found to be in possession of approximately 2 pounds of synthetic marijuana.
Both subjects were taken to the Marshall County Jail.
