Marshall_County_JailFailure to Appear tops the list of the top ten reasons why individuals were booked into the Marshall County jail in September.

Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel recently released the list which included Operating While Intoxicated as number two followed by Driving While Suspended, Operator Never Licensed and Marijuana.  Rounding out the top ten are Probation Violation at number 6, Theft is 7th on the list followed by Battery, Habitual Traffic Violator and Public Intoxication.

There were 157 people booked into the jail in September with the average daily population being 151.

County Police officers took 100 case reports, issued 155 citations, investigated 37 property damage accidents and 10 personal injury crashes last month.
