Each fall Plymouth LP Gas on Lincoln Highway East holds a Customer Appreciation Day.
As part of the celebration they have presented a check to Ounce of Prevention for several years.
On a beautiful fall Wednesday morning Jennifer Houin from Ounce of Prevention and representatives from Plymouth LP Gas gathered for the check presentation.
Each summer, during the busy grilling season Plymouth LP Gas offers a special to fill a 20 pound gas cylinder and that money is gathered up and then each October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month they donate the money to Ounce of Prevention. On Wednesday a check in the amount of $3,000 was presented to Houin.
Plymouth LP Gas treated their customers to lunch during the afternoon and had Plymouth Fire Department’s “pink” truck on site for anyone who was a cancer survivor or anyone who wanted to sign for a survivor or in memory of someone who’s passed from cancer.
