The State Police covered an accident involving a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle Thursday (9/15/16) afternoon.
About 4:03pm Officer Matt Brown of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Departed, radioed into the dispatch center that he was involved in a two vehicle traffic accident at Lincoln Highway and Hawthorn Road.
Officer Brown reported to Sheriff Matt Hassel that he was traveling west on Lincoln Highway when a south bound vehicle entered into the intersection from Hawthorn turning east onto Lincoln Highway.
No injuries were reported at the time of the accident. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
