Marshall County Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery is making a second appeal to those who suffered damage in the August 15th flood event.
Anyone who suffered flood or storm damage to their residence or business in Marshall County should report it to Avery by calling 574-936-3740.
Avery said, “We are collecting this information in order to see if our county could meet the threshold requirements to be able to apply for state or federal disaster assistance.”
He also commented, “Reporting damage is NOT a guarantee for assistance. It is simply the first step in the process of determining if assistance can be pursued.”
