Tuesday evening about 6:50 the Marshall County Police Department was conducting a investigation on a battery in the 13,000 block of Michigan Road.
While conducting the investigation it was determined that 39 year old Griffin F. Sterling of Plymouth was in violation of a protective order at the residence he was located.
Sterling was taken into custody and officers located a controlled substance in his possession. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was lodged for Invasion of Privacy with a Protective Order and Possession of a Schedule I – IV Controlled Substance.
