Arrested

A concerned citizen called Plymouth Police Tuesday morning reporting two people smoking marijuana in front of St. Michael’s Church.

Plymouth Police Officer John Weir and his K9 partner Jax were dispatched to the area and found the suspects, Malik Payano and Genesis Rodriguez both of New York. After speaking with the suspects he had Jax walk around the vehicle. Jax indicated the presence of narcotics and a search of the vehicle discovered suspected marijuana. As search of the two individuals located several false driver’s licenses from different states and the pair had false credit cards to match.

The female was here for her initial court hearing for the same charges stemming from a June 4th arrest by Marshall County Police.

Payano and Rodriguez were booked into the Marshall County Jail for Possession of False Government ID’s, Financial Fraud and Possession of Marijuana.
