Bicentennial_HeaderThe Marshall County Bicentennial Orchestra will present a FREE concert this Sunday saluting the200th birthday Indiana.

The 40 piece Marshall County Church Orchestra has invited additional musicians from throughout the county to join with them for this once in a lifetime event. The concert will be held at the Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park this Sunday, June 26th at 7:30 p.m. The rain venue will be the Plymouth Wesleyan Church on South Michigan Road.

The program will feature a mass orchestra ranging in ages from 16 to 90. There will also be a host/narrator, plus individual performers will sing, dance and present readings. More than 75 people will be participating in the patriotic event.

Content of the program will include a tribute to Indiana’s Native American ancestors. It will then move on to a sections honoring education, immigration, and manufacturing. It will end with a tribute to Indiana veterans.

There is no admission fee and attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. You may also bring your picnic meal and enjoy and evening with the entire family.
