Bremen_police_black and whiteBremen Police Chief Brad Kile released the activity report for Marsh 25th through April 1st.

Bremen Police Officers issued a total of 55 traffic warnings and 7 traffic citations during the reporting period.  Officer also took reports on a Criminal Mischief complaint, Identity Theft, a No Trespass Warning, 2 Operators Never Licensed, a Possession of a Legend Drug and Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance.

Bremen officers investigate an unknown injury crash at US 6 and Elm Road on March 26th and a property damage accident at Plymouth and Jackson Streets.  There was also a property damage accident in the Dollar General parking lot at 1410 West Plymouth Street on March 28th.

Officers from the Bremen Police Department made two arrests during the reporting period.  On March 25th Holly Bowling of Peru was arrested for Possession of a Legend Drug and on the 28th Demishia Jones of South Bend was arrested for Possession of a Scheduled II Controlled Substance.

The Bremen Fire Department also had two calls; on March 26th and unknown injury rollover crash at US 6 and Elm Road and to a field fire at Dogwood Road and the Railroad tracks on March 29th.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation.  Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
