Craig_CulticeCraig Cultice from Culver registered Thursday for the County Surveyor seat on the Republican Ticket.

Born and raised in Culver, he graduated from Culver Community High School in 1978 and attended Vincennes University where he graduated with a degree in Land Surveying.

After working for Brady Land Surveying in Elkhart, he joining Plymouth Land Surveying and Design in 1985 and became a co-owner in 1988.  After acquiring the number of years of field experience and taking the additional college courses, both required by the state, Cultice passed the state licensing exam to become licensed in the State of Indiana as a Professional Surveyor in 1999.

Craig Cultice continues to work in Marshall and the surrounding counties and is a member of the Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

When asked why he decided to file for the county seat he said, “Because of the responsibilities presented to the Office of County Surveyor on a daily basis, I feel it is in the best interest of the public to have someone in that position who is not only licensed by the state, but has the experience necessary to handle those challenges.  I am the best candidate for this position.”

Craig Cultice resides in Culver with his wife, Valerie, who is a teacher at Culver Elementary School.  They have two sons, Chad and Drew, both of Culver.
