PrintParents with student in Menominee Elementary School received an email Tuesday night from Principal Steven Boyer concerning an incident he learned about on Monday.

The letter says:

On Monday, January 25, I was informed that a staff member had given his phone number to students.  Upon receiving this information, I immediately initiated an investigation with the proper authorities.  The investigation was conducted quickly, and we were able to uncover the facts surrounding the allegation in a timely manner.

The staff member who was under investigation is no longer employed with the Plymouth Community School Corporation.  Additionally, a formal report was made to the Department of Child Services.

Please rest assured that students’ safety and well-being is and will continue to be our top priority as a school corporation.  During our investigation, nothing was revealed which indicated any students were in any kind of danger at any time.
