Thirty 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Argos Elementary School had quite an afternoon recently as they competed to win the annual Geography Bee. The decision was very tight and all the students showed their best as 6th grader Dylan Kindig was crowned the winner.
The format of the contest involves seven preliminary rounds. The judges tallied scores to decide the surviving seven contestants after those rounds were over. Questions continued until the last three students. Dylan Kindig came out the winner defeating fellow 6th grader Teddy Redinger who finished in 2nd place while 5th grader Emmah Good finished in 3rd place. Congratulations to these young Dragons!
