At approximately 7:00 p.m. officers stopped a passenger car on Michigan Road at U.S. 6 for a registration violation. The driver, Oscar Molina-Galindo of South Bend, was found to be unlicensed, and also had a warrant issued for his arrest through Marshall County. He was incarcerated with a $250.00 bond and a hold for the warrant.
At approximately 10:20 pm, LaPaz police stopped a passenger car on U.S. 6 at U.S. 31 for an equipment violation. The driver, Drake Balentine of North Liberty, was arrested for operating while intoxicated with a controlled substance, operating while intoxicated over .08, and possession of marijuana. He was incarcerated on a bond of $1,500.00
Shortly before midnight, LaPaz police initiated a traffic stop on a passenger car for erratic driving. The driver, Amanda Odonnell of Walkerton, was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance. She was incarcerated with a bond of $1,500.00.
