PHS_Robotics_586A Team 2016This past Saturday, the PHS Robotics teams traveled to Jay County High School in Portland, Indiana for the Jay County Border Wars Nothing But Net Competition.

PHS_Robotics_586B Team 201635 teams competed across the state and six of those teams were from Plymouth High School.

PHS_Robotics_Group photo2016PHS Teams 586A and 586B teamed up and both brought home Tournament Championship trophies. In addition 586A also earned the Sportsmanship Award while 586B came away with the Design Award. Both teams now qualify for both the State Championship tournament, that will be held in March and the U.S. Open Robotics Championship tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa that will be held in April.

PHS_VEX-RoboticsTeams 586C, 586E, 586G, and 586H all advanced through the qualifying rounds of the Jay County Border Wars Nothing But Net Competition. However, C, E, and H teams were all eliminated in the quarterfinal round while 586G team advanced to the Semifinal Round before being eliminated.
