On Wednesday, December 30, about 9:15 in the morning Officer Bryant with the Marshall County Police Department stopped a vehicle on Columbus Drive near Berkley Street for an expired license plate.
The city’s K9 Jax was requested and indicated the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana.
The Driver, 24 year old Cody Wilson of Culver was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated under a Controlled Substance. He was held in the County Jail on a $1,505 cash bond.
A passenger in the vehicle, 21 year old Teara Lapp of LaPaz was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and held in the jail on a $1,505 cash bond.
