With 2016 fast approaching, the Marshall County Blueberry Festival would like to announce its 50th Annual Festival theme:
“Another Picnic in the Park”
In 1966 Marshall County celebrated the Sesquicentennial of Indiana with a “Picnic in the Park”.
From that picnic, the Marshall County Blueberry Festival was born. In 1967 the 1st Annual Festival was held. This next year, with the 50th annual festival falling on the Bicentennial of Indiana, what better way to celebrate then by having another picnic in the park.
The Board of Directors is busy planning the 50th Festival and it looking forward to coinciding with the celebration of the 200th birthday of Indiana.
