Plymouth_Logo_2014The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings tonight beginning at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

Agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety includes reports from various department heads.  The City Attorney will present the 2016 agreement for Animal Control Services and present the research he has done on the request of Mark Kozuch for “Quiet Zones” regarding train whistle noises at railroad crossings.

The City Clerk Treasurer will present requests from Tri Kappa and St. Michael Church and under Other Business is the discussion of the use of Guaranteed Savings contract for a Wastewater Project.

The Common Council meeting begins at 6:30 and includes 2nd and 3rd reading of an ordinance amending the 2016 Salary Ordinance, addressing the Fire Department work schedule.  An interlocal agreement between Marshall County and the City of Plymouth for Planning Services will be presented along with an agreement for transportation services.

Plymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller will seek approval of a donation to the City Monetary Gift Fund and the Plymouth City Council will consider on first reading of the Ordinance fixing salaries for 2015 for elected officials.

The City Council will also consider a resolution declaring certain real estate to be within an “Economic Revitalization Area” for a tax abatement request for WestRock CP, LLC.

The City meetings are open to the public although comments and questions are limited to agenda item only.
