Hundreds of children and adults attended the 17th annual “Warm Up Marshall County” event on Saturday and Sunday at the National Guard Armory in Plymouth.
Founder of the coat drive, Steve Keiser said approximately 450 coats were donated to this year’s drive with many new coats being donated by corporate sponsors, Morrow Insurance, Beacon Credit Union and Oliver Ford.
Keiser said, “Timing for this year’s event couldn’t have been better with the snow that arrived this weekend.”
Families were required to bring everyone who needed a coat and only one coat per person was allowed.
Also available to everyone was a selection of hats and gloves, many of them were provided by Plymouth F.O.P. Lodge 195.
