INDOTlogoWALKERTON, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the closure of State Road 23, north of U.S. 6 near the bridge over Pine Creek, beginning Sunday, November 15 through Friday, November 20 for railroad crossing repairs. SR 23 will be closed at the railroad crossing, between Tyler Street and Tyler Road in Walkerton.

State road detours must be along state-maintained roadways only. Drivers traveling north on SR 23 will be detoured northwest and west on U.S. 6, northwest on SR 104, east on SR 4, and back to SR 23. Drivers traveling south on SR 23 will be detoured west on SR 4, southeast on SR 104, east and southeast on U.S. 6, and back to SR 23.
