ConventionVisitor_logoMarshall County Tourism (MCCVB) has allocated $25,000 in funding for the marketing, development, and hosting of events exhibiting positive tourism potential to Marshall County. These funds are to assist qualified organizations with the promotion of tourism activities striving to directly increase hotel/motel occupancy and create positive image building publicity for Marshall County.

The goal of the grant program is to help fund promotion of tourism projects that positively impact Marshall County’s economy, specifically those which have broad appeal in attracting visitors to the area.

The grants can be used for such things as advertising, printing and promotional expenses that bring visitors to Marshall County and encourage overnight stays. The funds can also be used by municipalities and non-profit organizations to develop brochures, websites and other tools that encourage visitation.

Deadline for applications is January 14, 2016. Organizations interested in being a part of the 2016 grant application and guidelines should visit or request by phone.
