The autopsy of 2 year old Serenity Wilson was completed on Monday, September 21st. Her death has been ruled a homicide as a result of multiple blunt force injuries to her head.
After further investigation police arrested her mother, 24 year old Krysti Lavanway at 3 p.m. Monday for Neglect of a Dependent resulting in Death as a Level 1 Felony.
As the investigation has unfolded police have been able to established that there was Probable Cause that Shane Weedling committed: Aggravated Battery resulting in Death as a Level 1 Felony, Neglect of a Dependent resulting in Death as a Level 1 Felony and Possession of Marijuana with prior convictions as a Level 1 Felony
Bonds have been set at $100,000.00 cash for both Krysti Lavanway and Shane Weedling.
