arrestsA fight in the carnival area of the Blueberry Festival Saturdays night about 10:30 ended with two being incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Police Officers Tim Taberski and Ryan Richey were working security at the festival and observed two females in a physical altercation.  33 year old Maria Jazmin Ramos-Tellez of West Chicago and 60 year old Maria Tellez-Frias of Plymouth were both placed under arrest and booked into the County Jail for Battery and Disorderly Conduct.   Tellez-Frias was held on a $750 cash bond and Ramos-Tellez was given a $2,250 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
