Residents of Miller’s Assisted Living are able to plan a special meal once a month. They make suggestions for the menu, date, and time of day for the meal at their monthly Resident Planning Meeting. For the month of July they chose Prime Rib as their main course. The remainder of the meal included twice baked potatoes, fresh green beans, double crust blueberry pie ala mode and a crusty dinner roll. Some residents enjoyed the meal twice as much because they help snap the fresh green beans that were used for the meal. Residents gathered in the Recreation Center for a bean snapping party the day before the meal was served.
