owi-arrestOn Wednesday, July 08, approximately 3:20 in the morning, Officer Carrell with the Argos Police Department was dispatched to the area of North Michigan Street for a report of a hit and run accident. After further investigation, it was determined that the victim’s vehicle belonged to Santiago Carlos Vaca of 415 North Michigan Street.

Approximately 3:25 Wednesday morning Plymouth Police performed a traffic stop on a SUV that had damages matching those that had occurred with a collision with the Vaca vehicle.

Officer Carrell arrived on the scene for further investigation and identified the driver as 34 year old Arlan Greer Jr. of Knox.  At that time it was determined that there was probable cause to believe that Mr. Greer had been consuming alcoholic beverages.

Mr. Greer was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident and Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated. His bond was set at $500 cash.
