NewTech_DanTyreePlymouth Community School Superintendent Dan Tyree continues the recovery process from his June 24th kidney transplant surgery.

Thursday morning the corporation posted a brief update on Dan’s progress.

After spending 6 days in the hospital following the transplant Tyree was released on Tuesday, June 30th.  The next day he returned to the Indianapolis hospital after experiencing digestive complications.  Released for a second time on Friday, July 3rd, Dan began having abdominal pain on Sunday, July 5th and returned to I.U. Hospital on Monday, July 6th.   He was admitted for observation and to allow doctors time to figure out what is causing his pain.

Still in Indianapolis at I. U. Health University Hospital the doctors continue to work with Dan’s medications and the side effects he is experiencing. They say he is tired, but doing pretty well.
