The Plymouth Seventh-day Adventist Church at 11533 7 B Road in Plymouth welcomes its new pastor, Ernie Peckham, and his wife Karen on Saturday, July 4, at 11:00 AM. Everyone is invited to come and welcome Pastor Peckham, and a fellowship dinner follows the worship service.
Pastor Peckham takes over the Plymouth/Knox/Rochester district, having pastored in the Terre Haute/Lewis/Greencastle district for over 11 years. He is a graduate of Atlantic Union College and held positions as a respiratory therapist, computer programmer, systems analyst, consultant, and consulting manager before becoming a youth pastor and then senior pastor. However, Pastor Peckham declares that his greatest credential is that he is loved by the Lord. He enjoys reading and studying his Bible and loves to share Jesus with others.
His wife, Karen Moeckel Peckham, is a registered nurse in a neo-natal intensive care unit. They have two children: Stefanie Nugent, a beautician in Broad Ripple, Indiana, and Dr. John Peckham, an Associate Professor of Theology and Christian Philosophy at the Andrews University Seminary in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
