On Friday morning, May 15th senior students at Triton High School were recognized, honored and presented scholarships during their annual Awards Ceremony.
Special recognitions were presented to Nathaniel Spangle and Hannah Jennings by Mr. Ross for the Army Reserve National Scholarship and Athlete Students.
Staff Sgt. Wesley with the U.S. Marine Corp. presented Lisa Otto with the Scholastic Excellence award, Grant Stichter with the Distinguished Athlete award and
Justin Hefner with the Semper Fidilis award.
A number of scholarships were presented including the Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarship and 4-H Accomplishment Scholarship. Presenter, Angie Smith from Marshall County 4-H presented the scholarships to Reid Mosson.
The Samuel Elliot Perkins IV Memorial Scholarship was presented by Patti Kitch from the Purdue Alumni Club of Marshall County to Austin Sellers.
The America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship administrated by the National FFA Organization was presented by Ryan Sanders from Monsanto to Andrew Chupp.
Kyle Whiteman from Shelter Insurance presented a scholarship to Delilah Hochstedler
The Ancilla College Reach Scholarship was presented to Brycelyn Garbison by Sarah Lawrence.
Reid Mosson received the Donner Merit Scholarship, Harvey Willey Scholarship and a Hanover Legacy Scholarship on Friday. Robert Ross presented the scholarships. Ross also presented Mosson with the Marshall County Youth Court Scholarship sponsored by the Otis Bowen Center.
The final presentation was the Knight of Pythias of Indiana award to Jared Fisher by Robert Ross.
