The PHS Speech and Debate Team will be hosting “Showcase 2015” this Friday evening, May 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Studio Theatre. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and guests may enter the building through door number 5.
The Showcase is a collection of performances from the 2015 season. It includes First Team All-State Team Members, NCFL Grand National team members, and the students who qualified for the NSDA National Tournament in June.
The NCFL tournament will be held in Ft. Lauderdale over Memorial Day Weekend, and the NSDA tournament will be held in Dallas next month.

Elizabeth Polstra – First Team All-State in Drama
Christie Gorka & Kalee Lowry – NSDA National Qualifiers in Duo Interpretation
Emily McKenzie – NSDA National Qualifier in Congressional Debate
Garrick Nate – NSDA National Qualifier in Congressional Debate
Clayton Lenig – NSDA National Qualifier in Humor
Chase Holzwart & Jillian Smith – NCFL National Team in Duo Interpretation
Kylee Rippy – NSDA National Qualifier in International Extemporaneous Speaking
Admission is free, but donations to support the team’s trips to Ft. Lauderdale and Dallas will be gladly accepted.
