recycle_rallyLeadership Marshall County is a nine month program designed to cultivate potential community leaders. Since 1995, this joint program between the Marshall County Community Foundation and United Way of Marshall County holds classes taught by current leaders on government, economic development, criminal justice, tourism, the arts, and health and human services.

Participants become familiar on a first-hand basis of the issues facing the community as the program develops future leaders to ensure that Marshall County becomes an even better place to live and work.  They are also required to create a project where they see a need in the County.  One such team in the 20th Class determined recycling was an important issue and has planned an educational and fund Recycle Rally this Saturday.

This isn’t your typical recycling rally but will include entertainment, tours, food and fun and demonstrations.

Marshall County citizens are urged to come to the Recycle Depot at Marshall County Solid Waste District at 1900 Walter Glaub Drive between 8 and 2 on Saturday.  Bring your recyclables and help keep our county clean and safe.
