Plymouth_Logo_2014The Plymouth Mayor’s Youth Council requests your service at our postponed Earth Day event this Saturday, May 2nd. This will be their third annual Earth Day celebration. There will be several activities for you to partake in to celebrate Earth Day. These activities are open to adults and children eleven years or older. Church, families, service clubs and youth groups are invited to take part.
Everyone will meet at 9:00 a.m. at River Park Square on Garro Street. It is expected to run until 1:00 in the afternoon but you can leave whenever you need.   All participants are required to wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Work gloves are requested and safety vests will be provided. Any other supplies will be provided by the Mayor’s Youth Council.
A couple of trees will be planted several in River Park Square and Mayor Senter will read a proclamation for Plymouth recently being awarded the Tree City USA designation.
