A quick update from Washington DC: Plymouth High School senior, Emma Libersky was chosen Tuesday as 1 of 3 students to represent the Midwest region to compete in the national Poetry Out Loud finals Wednesday night at 7 PM.
The Indiana State Champion, she will recite all three poems again on Wednesday to compete against the eight other top reciters in the nation.
This is the 3rd year Emma has compete as the Indiana State Champ in the national competition but she has never advanced beyond the first round of semifinals before and now she’s going to nationals!!
