Plymouth Community SchoolsParents of students who might be interested in signing up for Project Based Learning classes (PBL) offered at the Plymouth Schools may submit an application for the Washington Discovery Academy (K-4), Innovation Academy Riverside (5 & 6), Innovation Academy Lincoln (7 & 8) or the Weidner School of Inquiry at Plymouth High School for grades 9  and 10 this weekend.

According to Director of PBL Grades K-12, Amy Gerard the applications will open on the PCSC website this Sunday, January 25th at 6 p.m.  Gerard said, “Applications will be for placement in the August 2015 to 2016 school year.”

Anyone wanting more information on PBL is encouraged to contact Gerard at 936-4072 or email her at agerard@plymouth.k12.in.us.  Gerard said, “Once students are in a PBL environment, they will continue learning in PBL throughout their PCSC education. Parents will be given an option each year to have their learner continue in PBL or return to the traditional classroom for instruction.”

Current PBL learners do not need to apply.
