MIller's_GraceBaptistTwenty-three students from Grace Baptist School Ministry Team volunteered their time to entertain the residents of Miller’s Assisted Living Community.  The students are under the direction of teacher Mrs. Pam Mechling.

Even though it was a cold, January day the students presented their Christmas program.  December is always such a busy month they decided they would spread the joy of the season into the New Year.

The Ministry Team began their concert with a beautiful rendition of “O Holy Night”.  They followed with “Amazing Grace” and several other well-known hymns that showcased the group’s beautiful harmonies.   They then donned their scarves and jackets and sang a very cute arrangement of “Jingle Bells” combined with “Deck The Halls” and “Go Tell It On The Mountain”.  The group then asked the audience to join them in the singing of some traditional Christmas carols as they surrounded the residents in a friendly circle.

Mrs. Mechling explained the performance was their last Christmas concert for the season.  When the students get back to school they will begin rehearsing for the Easter holiday.  The Miller’s residents will look forward to the Grace Baptist School Ministry Team returning in the spring with another concert for them.
