Twelve Mile Man Arrested for Driving on Lifetime Suspension

MugShot_Andrew CallenderOn Wednesday, September 3rd at 4:37 a.m. an officer with the Marshall County Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of US 31 and 9A Road. During the course of the investigation it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, 36 year old Andrew Callender of Twelve Mile, Indiana was operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension. He was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail with no bond pending a filing of probable cause.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
