Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin is being very tight-lipped on Friday’s discovery of the body of a young, white female on 5th Road between Hawthorn and Grape Road.
In a press release on Saturday, the sheriff said an autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, December 22nd to determine the cause of death and identity. He made it clear to the media that no further information would be released until the proper identification and notification are made.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is being assisted in their investigation by the Indiana State Police and the Marshall County Coroner’s office.
