There were seven members present for this week’s meeting of Alfie’s Angels Red Hat Society group.
Each new Red Hat member selected the style of red hat they preferred which had been donated by several ladies from the Plymouth area. Alfie’s Angels members then chose from an array of gems, feathers, beads, trims and other ornaments to add some “bling” to their hats.
Miller’s Angels Queen Jan Moore-Gaines explained how important “bling” is to make the hats personal. Her fellow member Kathy Carlson added encouragement and helpful ideas to the ladies.
Alfie’s Angels next meeting will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at which time they will wear their red hats during an outing to Moonies Ice Cream Parlor. Anyone interested in joining a red hat society group may contact Gaines via e-mail at jansdesign@yahoo.com.
