Thursday morning about 1:45 the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center received a report of a domestic battery at a residence in the 16,000 block of Sheryl Court in Plymouth.
County police officers responded to the home and after an investigation 40 year old Chad Wayne Smith was arrested for strangulation and domestic battery in the presence of a child under the age of 16 and battery by bodily waste.
41 year old Toni Jeanne Lehman of the same address was also arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child and battery by bodily waste.
Both were transported to the Marshall County jail where Smith is being held on a $3,005 cash bond and Lehman has a $1,505 cash bond. The couple are scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on January 20th.
Child Protective Services was called to the scene for the youth.
