ParkDept_logoThe Plymouth Park Board wants to make sure they are being a good neighbor where their rental facilities are located in residential areas.

Conservation ClubMonday evening City Attorney Sean Surrisi suggested reviewing the current rental agreement for the Conservation Club House and the Webster Rec. Center.

Renters have been taking advantage of the agreement which allows use of the building until midnight. Users are keeping the parties going until midnight and then doing their tear-down and cleanup. The police occasionally get noise complaints.

They city’s noise ordinance requires the sound to be turned down at 11 but renters tend to keep the volume up until midnight.

A committee including park board members Laura Mann, Bob Beiter, Officer Manager Jenny Sickmiller and the city attorney will review the agreement and report back to the park board with a recommendation.
