Bremen_PoliceBremen police officers issued a total of 8 traffic citation from September 26th through October 2nd. During that same time period officers wrote 32 traffic warnings and 5 town ordinance violations.

Bremen officers were dispatched to a number of crashes: a property damage accident at Grant and Marshall Streets and one on State Road 331 and North Dewey Streets. Bremen police also investigated crashes at 730 High Street in the lot of Precision Painting, at 3Rd and Woodies Lane and at 501 High Road on the NISCO property.

Officers in the Bremen Police Department made three arrests between September 26th and October 2nd. On September 29th Dingaan G. Wittika of South Bend was arrested for driving while having been judged a habitual traffic violator for life On the 30th they arrested Anthony L. Washington of Bremen for conspiracy to commit fraud and Dustyn M. Miller of Bremen for a habitual traffic violator.

Bremen Police also responded to the following fire calls: Sept. 28th a personal injury accident at 1070 SR 331, on the 29th a general fire alarm at NISCO and a fire inside an oxidizer at 405 N. Industrial Drive. On October 2nd Bremen police were dispatched to fire calls at 4020 Thorn Road for mutual aid for a barn fire and at US 6 and SR331 for a personal injury accident.
