09/03/14 On Thursday, August 28th at 9:20 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Bridget Hite was dispatched to Kroger’s in reference to two females attempting to pass bad checks. By the time Officer Hite arrived at the Plymouth Kroger Store one of the females had left. The other one suspect, 33 year old Shamika D. Mitchell of South Bend was located attempting to hide underneath a van seat in the parking lot. Several altered checks were located and Shamika Mitchell was arrested for theft and forgery. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $3,005 bond.
