On Sunday, August 3, about 9:15 in the evening the Bremen Police Department was called to 612 East Plymouth Street for a domestic fight. Officers conducted an investigation and determined that the suspect, 49 year old Steven McCarty of Bremen had battered his adult daughter. McCarty was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury and Interference with Reporting a Crime.
Steve McCarty is being held on a $755 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on September 2nd.
